Please read carefully before creating your account. By clicking "I Agree & Create Account", you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the YANTRA IAS platform.
About YANTRA IAS
YANTRA IAS is an AI-first UPSC civil services preparation platform operated by YANTRA IAS, registered and operating under the laws of India, headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana. The platform provides students with access to study materials, AI-powered tools, community forums, live sessions, mock tests, and other educational resources (collectively, "Services") to aid in UPSC and state civil services preparation.
Eligibility & Account Creation
- You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to register.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Any misrepresentation constitutes a breach of these Terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. YANTRA IAS is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
- Each student may hold only one (1) account. Creating duplicate or fake accounts is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.
- YANTRA IAS reserves the sole right to accept, reject, suspend, or terminate any registration at its absolute discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
Platform Rights Reserved to YANTRA IAS — All Rights
YANTRA IAS reserves full, exclusive, and unconditional rights over every aspect of the platform, including but not limited to:
Platform Management
Modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, tool, or content at any time without prior notice.
Course Content
Add, remove, update, restructure, or replace courses, materials, and study resources at sole discretion.
Pricing & Payment
Revise subscription fees, course pricing, discounts, and payment terms at any time without prior consent.
User Accounts
Suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts for violations, abuse, or at YANTRA IAS's discretion.
Data & Analytics
Collect and use anonymized usage data, platform analytics, and behavioral insights to improve services.
Policy Enforcement
Interpret, enforce, and update community guidelines, conduct policies, and usage rules as needed.
Community Standards & Prohibited Conduct
YANTRA IAS maintains a community space for students to interact, discuss, and collaborate. All users must uphold a respectful, inclusive, and academically focused environment. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Harassment & Poking: Sending unsolicited messages, repeatedly contacting other students against their wishes, or any form of online harassment or bullying.
- Offensive Language: Use of abusive, vulgar, communally sensitive, casteist, sexist, or otherwise offensive language in any part of the platform.
- Trolling & Disruption: Intentional disruption of discussions, spreading misinformation, or derailing community threads for personal amusement.
- Spam & Solicitation: Promoting third-party services, coaching centers, products, or unsolicited commercial messages within the community.
- Impersonation: Impersonating any other student, instructor, staff member, or YANTRA IAS personnel.
- Sharing Inappropriate Content: Posting sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise objectionable content of any kind.
- Privacy Violation: Sharing personal information of other users (name, phone, photos, location) without their explicit consent.
- Academic Dishonesty: Sharing answers to proctored mock tests, facilitating cheating, or attempting to game assessment systems.
Zero Tolerance
YANTRA IAS enforces a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, poking, and misbehaviour. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund.
Payments, Subscriptions & Refund Policy
- All payments made on YANTRA IAS are processed securely through authorised payment gateways. YANTRA IAS does not store card or banking details.
- Subscription fees and course purchase amounts are non-refundable once access is granted, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific offer or plan description.
- YANTRA IAS reserves the right to revise its pricing structure, introduce new plans, discontinue existing plans, or offer time-limited discounts at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
- Failed payments due to user-side errors (insufficient balance, wrong UPI ID, expired cards) are the sole responsibility of the student. YANTRA IAS will not be liable for service interruption in such cases.
- In the event of a genuine technical failure during payment causing double deduction, students must raise a dispute within 48 hours via official support channels. YANTRA IAS will investigate and resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
- Unauthorised chargebacks initiated through your bank without first raising a dispute with YANTRA IAS may result in permanent account termination.
Intellectual Property
- All content on YANTRA IAS — including but not limited to study materials, video lectures, AI-generated notes, mock tests, UI design, branding, and code — is the exclusive intellectual property of YANTRA IAS.
- Students are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access content for personal study purposes only during an active subscription period.
- Copying, distributing, recording, reproducing, selling, or sharing any platform content on external platforms (YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) is strictly prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement.
- Any content created by a student on the community (posts, answers, notes shared) grants YANTRA IAS a royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, or moderate that content on the platform.
Account Suspension & Termination
YANTRA IAS reserves the unconditional right to suspend or terminate any student account under the following circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Violation of any clause in these Terms & Conditions
- Harassment, misbehaviour, or inappropriate conduct in the community
- Attempting to circumvent platform security, access controls, or payment systems
- Misuse of AI tools or automation to exploit platform resources
- Providing false information during registration
- Any conduct that YANTRA IAS, at its sole discretion, deems harmful to the platform, its community, or other users
Upon termination, all access to purchased courses, community, and materials will be revoked with immediate effect. No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
Privacy & Data Usage
- By registering, you consent to YANTRA IAS collecting and processing your name, email, phone number, usage data, and academic performance data for the purpose of delivering and improving Services.
- YANTRA IAS will not sell your personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with trusted service partners (payment gateways, cloud providers, analytics tools) strictly for platform operations.
- YANTRA IAS may send you platform updates, course recommendations, and promotional messages via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time.
- All data practices are governed by YANTRA IAS's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
- YANTRA IAS provides its Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure access at all times.
- YANTRA IAS shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the platform, including failure in UPSC/state exams.
- YANTRA IAS makes no guarantee of exam selection, rank, or outcome for any student. Results depend on individual effort, preparation, and factors entirely outside YANTRA IAS's control.
Amendments to These Terms
YANTRA IAS reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or related to the use of YANTRA IAS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana. YANTRA IAS and the student agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
